Self-worth could be characterized by many definitions. Many people describe it as self-respect or doing what’s best for your peace of mind. Whether that means believing in an end goal that gives you hope and achieving it and then carrying yourself with a slight ego. Or if it means just not letting someone disrespect you. They’re not wrong, but I like to see this in a different perspective. Your self-worth should be defined as what keeps your dignity in check no matter what or how your past is. Keeping your nobility to the ones you keep around no matter what your previous experiences are. Not letting it define you and keeping your head up is what self-worth should be.
